Policies & Statement of Ethics

All information discussed by clients is kept confidential. Do note, however, that I may anonymously reference an aspect of your reading for the purposes of teaching tarot, as I am a tarot educator. I will never reveal your name or identity.

I ask that all appointments be cancelled no less than 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel within this time frame, I will not be able to offer you a refund, but I may be able to reschedule your reading dependent on the circumstances of your cancellation.

To cancel a purchased email reading, contact me within 24 hours of purchase and I will refund it to you.

I do not give refunds for completed readings. Sometimes, information may come forth in a reading that is difficult to receive. That is an essential part of the utility of tarot to aid self-discovery, process hard things, and do the work to uncover our highest selves. As a tarot practitioner, my job is not to tell you what you want to hear, but to pass along the messages I see in the cards. As such, I cannot grant refunds based on a negative response to a reading, should this occur.

I do not offer readings or other services to anyone under the age of eighteen.

I reserve the right to listen to my intuition. If I feel that you will not be served by a reading from me, I will offer a refund and will decline to provide services. I will refer you to another metaphysical practitioner, if appropriate. If a client is unwilling to respect my boundaries, I will refuse service and offer a refund.

I welcome all clients regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability. As a queer person and a survivor of trauma, I practice tarot from a perspective that recognizes the toxic and traumatic effects of patriarchy, cis-heteronormativity, white supremacy, and other forms of oppression in our everyday lives. I do my best to create a safe space for those affected by oppression or trauma, and also to bring awareness to the presence of privilege in my own life and my clients’ lives so that we may unlearn our privilege and expand. Please let me know if you have need of any accommodations due to a disability so that I can best assist you.

By booking a reading with me, you are agreeing to all the aforementioned policies and terms.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES
If I have any reason to believe that you may be at imminent risk of harm to yourself or to others, then the contents of your reading may be disclosed to professional third parties on a need-to-know basis for the sole purpose of preventing risk of harm. A court order issued by a judge could also override any confidentiality terms herein.

A divinatory reading should never be used in place of professional counseling. Your reading cannot offer legal, medical, business, or financial advice. I do not answer specific questions about the law, financial issues or health. If asked a question that falls outside of my scope of practice, I will redirect you to an appropriate professional.

I am not a psychic, medium, or fortune teller, nor am I a licensed therapist, psychologist, or counselor. By booking a reading with me, you acknowledge that I’ve conveyed this to you.

In certain jurisdictions, a tarot reader or practitioner engaged in practices that legally fall under the scope of “fortune telling or divination” is required to disclose to you that such readings should be for entertainment purposes only, and if such a law applies to your reading, then you are hereby on notice thereof. That being said, I take the practice of Tarot very seriously, and I will approach your reading with appropriate gravitas and reverence. So while I encourage you to take my readings as entertainment, please know that I do not approach them as entertainment from my end, and that I regard every reading as an extension of my personal spiritual beliefs.

Since I will be engaging with you at least in part by electronic mail, my website’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply. By contacting me for an online reading, you are accepting those terms.
