Queer Witch Resource Guide

This is a work in progress! I’m adding resources as I find them, but if I’m missing something or you think your book/website/podcast/whatever should be on here, please let me know here.

Queer Tarot:

Tarot of the QTPOC Series at AsaliEarthwork.com.

Queering the Tarot column by Cassandra Snow at LittleRedTarot.com

Books:

Becoming Dangerous, ed. by Katie West and Jasmine Elliott. (Collection of essays by queer witches)

Witches, Sluts, Feminists by Kristen Sollee. (Sex-positive feminist witchery)

Jailbreaking the Goddess by Firefox Allen. (Feminist Spirituality)

Comics:

Power & Magic: The Queer Witch Comics Anthology, Power & Magic Press

Podcasts:

Rise Up! Good Witch podcast: “self care is magic, resistance is power: using tarot, herbalism, planetary transits and self care to foster resilience in toxic capitalism.” This podcast is only available on SoundCloud right now, but it’s absolutely exceptional and well worth the tiny added trouble. (Edit: it’s on Apple Podcast now!)

The Serpent Cast: three queer, sex-positive Brooklyn witches on everything witchy and some things not. Episode 7: Urban Folk Magic with Aerinn Kolfage, and Episode 8: Ask a Clean Witch with Jolie Kerr, are my current favorites. (Episode 8 has some legit useful tips for cleaning wax spills.)

The Queer Witch Podcast: queer witch Anna Joy investigates the intersection of queerness and magic through solo episodes and interviews with other queer witches. If you’re queer and magical, listen to Episode 1 and get ready to receive some rad validation.

Major Arcana // Mental Health: mini-series in-progress by Molly of The Firebrand Witch on the Major Arcana as guideposts on the nonlinear journey of healing from trauma. Great, bite-sized teachings that expand the meaning and resonance of each card through a queer and neurodivergent lens.

Witchcraftsy: woman- and femme-centered interview podcast that delves into all things witchy/magickal/spiritual, hosted by a self-identified lesbian feminist. Favorite episodes include Rachel Quinlan on Tarot, Loo Ledesma on Conjure, and Ritualcravft owner Missy Rhysing on professional witching.
